Matured for 12 months in American oak. Outstanding saturated inky black purple colour with very deep dark purple black hue. The nose is quite perfumed with scents of ripe blackberry and dark plum followed by some chocolate bullets, vanillin confectionary and a hint of spice as an end note. Full bodied the palate possesses quite opulent flavours of dark chocolate followed by some blackberry, liquorice, vanillin oak and spicy pepper. The acid and tannin structure of this wine will ensure that it will be long lived. Very solid, yet fine grained tannins with a dryish finish. Long ripe blackberry, dark chocolate, subtle liquorice, spicy toasted oak and blackpepper aftertaste.

Its colour is monumentally deep, jet black with a narrow, vibrant purple rim. The palate slowly uncoils to reveal tremendous depth of succulent black plum, blackberry and liquorice, with a crunchy vibrancy and an air of violet perfume that hovers from start to finish, framed in delightfully poised tannins of commanding structure yet ultra-fine restraint, Very Limited Stock.
