WINERY INFORMATION

Geoff Hardy left his family wine business in 1980, to start his own wine brand - Wines by Geoff Hardy, in partnership with fellow viticulturist - Ian Leask. Geoff purchased the Pertaringa vineyard, eventually leading to the plantation of the K1 vineyard in 1987. Wines by Geoff Hardy comprises of 3 reputed wine brands of South Australia - Pertaringa, K1 and GMH.

TASTING NOTES

Pertaringa Lakeside Cabernet Sauvignon displays a deep garnet colour. A whiff of the wine reveals complex aromas of cassis, plums and blackberries, accompanied by light suggestions of violet. The soft and lively palate packs chocolate mint and black fruit flavours, supported by fine tannins. This mouth watering Cab Sauv ends in a captivating finish. With the potential to be cellared for 8 years, this delicious red wine can also be enjoyed fresh upon release. It tastes great with spit-roasted lamb, mini buffalo slider, and Cheddar cheese. .
