Irvine Grand Merlot Eden Valley wine is Irvine's flagship wine. It is a year-on-year multi-award winning classic and shows their dedication to this grape variety. Drawing on their heritage as Australia’s master-Merlot-makers they have made a wine that will reward for decades to come.

Nose: A rich opulent nose showing layers of black cherry, spice and fruits of the forest. In the background there is some lovely mocha and a hint of earthy tobacco.
Palate: Dark rich fruits like blackberries leading to fruit cake. Subtle mint. Firm tannins to finish.
Maturation: The wine received two years in barrel, 30% new French oak and then two years in bottle before release Style: This limited release is rich and opulent in its varietal fruit expression. Approachable now yet will develop in complexity with cellaring.
Cellaring Potential: Will reward with careful cellaring through to 2032-2038
